SEP Washington plans for 2009...... Lake Cushman Youth Campout.

I have some news regarding this years camp plans.   After much thought, prayer, and discussion with several camp leaders we decided to not have a one week resident camp for SEP this year.  

So the goal this year is to keep it simple and provide a 3 night 4 day campout for the youth ages 8-15.   The campout will take place at Camp Cushman's group site (formally Lake Cushman State Park) July 20-23.  We will have a beach day, hike day etc.  Other activities will be: Arts and Crafts, Fishing, water skiing/tubing, hike at Staircase State Park, boating, chapel, night hike, swimming, horse shoes, camo night, camp fire, skits, and more!

Early bird price will be $135/camper (January-April 1st) and regular fee will be $150.00/camper (April 2nd-July10th).  Online registration will take place in middle to late February. 

Food and tents will be provided for all the campers so just pack your clothes and sleeping bag and plan to have a blast with your friends.

Since this campout is for ages 8-15, We invite teens to join the Everett/Bellevue churches for their annual river float trip in August, go to the Creation Northwest Event at the Columbia Gorge in July or even venture down to California for SEPSoCal's week long resident camp.  In addtion there will be two weekend family camps this year! August 5th-9th at Schafer State Park and the second one will be at Rainbow Falls State Park Sept 4-7, 2009.
